200 Years performs “West Hartford’ at Zebulon in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on April 15, 2012
Last fall Ben Chasny of Six Organs of Admittance and Elisa Ambrogio of Magik Markers released a lovely self-titled album under the name 200 Years. This month they bring their somber / serene folk to West Philly’s Studio 34 for a concert presented by our friends at Folkadelphia on Friday, June 22.
Opening the show are Jonathan Byerley of Brooklyn’s Plates of Cake (he’s on the roster of the buzzing La Société Expéditionnaire label), and Still Life alum Brendan Codey (who will be taking a break from space rock jams for the evening, instead showcasing his skilled folksy fingerpicking).
Information on the show and venue here, tickets available for preorder here.
